On 1-2 November 2012 in Saint-Petersburg III International scientific and practical congress in the field of choreography was held. The congress was organized by Saint-Petersburg Section of CID UNESCO.
The president of International Dance Council UNESCO Professor Alkis Raftis, executive director of International Dance Council Adamantia Angeli, Delegate CID UNESCO in Russia Andrey Kokoulin and leading specialist in the sphere of world choreography took part in the event.
Saint-Petersburg Section greeted with joy guests from the Ukraine, Belarus, the Netherlands, Greece, Estonia. Russia was represented by such cities as: Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Kirov, Kingisepp, Vsevolojsk, Lomonosov, Volgograd. Total amount of participants – 92 persons.
The participants of congress had an opportunity to demonstrate their level of mastery and share researches, methods in the sphere of dance. Research reports, lectures, workshops, video presentations, in addition awarding ceremony of presenting certificates to new CID UNESCO members were shown.
During the congress the president of CID UNESCO Alkis Raftis and the president of Saint-Petersburg Section CID UNESCO Ralif Shakirovexchanges their opinions. According to the results of Saint-Petersburg Section’s CID UNESCO activity in 2012:
- assessment of high level was given to the organization of III International scientific and practical congress in the field of choreography;
- educational programs of Saint-Petersburg Section CID UNESCO according to the system of international certification (150 hours) were approved;
- plans of further cooperation, interaction with other Russian and international Sections CID UNESCO are marked on the principle of equality and democracy
III International scientific and practical congress in the field of choreography – grandiose event for all specialists and devotees of choreography, important landmark in development of international dance culture.
